It's summer and like last year a new game found the way into the production-pipe. It's a tiny 2D space-shooter in arcade-style with on top-view. And wtf... I never had run into so much bugs/trouble with RPG in a Box as with this tiny project. Yeah, I will use this engine again for it.
Some I could already fix/workaround but it runs not very stable at all and need for sure some engine-fixes here. Maybe, a reduction of the attack-frequenzy can fix here a lot. But running just one while-loop and crash, as a default-thing Beside some other just gamplay-thing default-crashes... and these way too often.
This surprised me a lot. Never had these problems in the past with the other productions. But, I use here new tools and maybe with this fast combat style the engine isn't complete ready for it, yet. - Yeah, not so nice. Oo But it's a funny production and the game already in prototype-status has already something. I will continue with it, even with the current problems I have to deal with. - What else have we?
Oh, the news-site got added on the website. It will replace the old-dropdown archive feature of the website. And I created: https://linktr.ee/callme_jk for a short-link site-feature. In general the website got a new fresh menu look / clean up and new game-sites with details I'm currently working on. :)
Look forward to new DevLog's, which will come more often now again. Yeah, with focus on the 60-100 production, currently. - And later this year updated shots for project hldis beside news again. - jk
